Families...
In the past week or so I have been lucky enough to be a part of lots of families... Families of all kinds, My Dad, my brother, obviously, who I am so proud of, the theatre company I have been touring with all week, who have to have a sense of humour touring shows about pigeons and busses in a an ebay £300 BT van which runs on will power and Haribo (or was that just us?!), doing two shows a day to sell out audiences of small children that love it so much they run on stage to be part of the action, and they get dragged kicking and screaming out of the theatres by cross mothers, Then putting the show back in the van to drive miles to whatever b&b we sleep in, The Guid Sisters mob, Wonderful talented young people learning that maybe showbiz isn't as glam as they firs thought, but who are loving it anyway, the lovely people that live in my house, the wine drinkers and the bathroom excavators that noticed the hairbands on the loo before noticing the new shower curtain and the new bath mat, but put hooks up for our puffs. And of course wonderful new shiny parents with a new family of small cats and a small baby, who is beautiful and loved and will make an excellent family even better, A family I have know for nearly 15 years and have grown with and still get teased by. And after that week I came home to a party with my closest most wonderful friends, who I love the world and a shiny penny. The families that have chosen me to be a part of, the families that I am privilaged to be a part of. My families ~ I love you all!
