For Amanda

Its a blue footed booby chick. Just in case you weren't sure!

A special post... dedicated to you my darling Amanda, just because I have been bad at keeping you in the loop, I haven't got Internet at the warehouse which is why there are long gaps between postings...

So... Big Events!

  • Easter! Yay for Easter Sundays, and the Dinner at Auntie Marian's house, she makes the best roast potatoes, and chocolate! not that I've had any yet, I'm still all full of potato. I love being around the table with the family, and smugly (because I am a picky wench) I know that I will only ever inflict them on a significant other that can give as good as they get. Seriously ~ the potential for carnage is amazing!
  • My show closed. I had such a wonderful time working on Lintel, I haven't been ASM for a while and I had forgotten how much I like playing with props. I got to work with Richard, who is lovely (and has a very distracting twinkle!) and the lovely Sian and Howard, who looked after me so well and kept me on the straight and narrow :o) (Well - narrow - OK, who am I kidding!) and the wonderful guys at the Duchess, Sadie, who is a bag of organisational gold, and Carole and Micheal who unfortunately met the same coxwellian fate as so many of my friends.
  • My little brother broke his ankle, but is well on't way to recovery. He is walking on it, and has been going into work for the past week. He heals fast, even though he won't let me put glitter paint on his cast. He has a big plastic thing to wear in the bath, and a little blue foam foot to walk on. He has a lot of bruises and his toes are yellowy brown and clash with the red plaster. He'll be back to normal (ish) in about a month they reckon.
  • I was kidnapped and taken to Andover by a big tall handsome stranger (and you don't get much stranger ;o) ~ and in all fairness I kidnapped him earlier) and there was much inebriation, and a show in the morning (there always is!) Then there were films and ice cream and hangovers, which made it all better!
  • There was a picnic, but there were no pirates, it was a lovely sunny day for clowning around in the park with a bottle of Asti and a loaf of bread and a pile of Waitrose cheese. What those girls can't do with a pork pie...
  • Chris started on LOTR, the costumes sound amazing and I can't wait to see it. Previews start the day before my birthday.
  • Talking of birthdays there is likely to be a BBQ on the terrace on the Sunday after the 10th ( I think it will be the 13th ) and there will be no excuses. You will be there eating charred food and telling me I am wonderful and plying me with beer.
Happy Easter my lovely Chicklets, May there be eggies for all!
