What One Wears...

This is a very insightful article, written by a very insightful lady!
Have a read. And then count the pockets on your trousers.

For the love of a Good Woman.

I've spent the past three days whining because I can't be doing, due to one footedness, and being a completely nightmare for anyone who knows me well enough to put up with me still. I'm not good at sitting, and I'm not good at being bored, especially when there are shows to do. I've rearranged my desk, I've been seriously considering the wings on my back, and definately conteplating the choice pairings of socks.
So where did I become so insular. I need a jolly good poke if you ask me.
In the real world one of my best friends is 5 months pregnant, another's daughter is about to have her first birthday. My brother has just got a fab new job doing what he wants to do and earning alot of money for it. Another of my friends is moving house today, My hubby is in another country worrying about new casting, and us coming out to see him. 2 more of my friends are wondering where I am because I haven't called them lately, and 2 more are going out to dinner. A new romance may be on the cards for another pair and my old family-in-law are mourning the loss of another beautiful daughter.
All these amazing things that happen in the world, all that emotion, and excitement and new and old and black and blue and roses and thorns and endings and new starts. All that love.
And I'm still wearing odd socks, but it doesn't actually matter.

The use of the Field Telephone and Other Such Jolities.

I don't have much luck with mobile phones. Especially this one. Its broken again meaning that I have to clamp the bit just above the buttons before I open it up so I can see the screen. This is very entertaining for the first two text messages then it gets really really boring. The novelty has most certainly worn off. This is the third screen I shall be sending it away for, its very expensive. Next time I get a phone I need a rubber brick like we used to pick up from swimming pools in our pajamas. My laptop has also taken lead from the phone... It has just gone away to get its screen fixed. Anything with moving parts/screens/buttons or plugs should be removed from my person for their own good. I don't have a particularly rough and tumble lifestyle, nor do I hit these items repeatedley with mallets. Its all lies I tell you.
::end rant::
EDIT - Can't even get image of phone to work. So I'm leaving up broken image. Just to prove a point. muhahahahaha etc.

There's small choice in rotten apples

So its a good job I haven't got any. I have got some amazing friends who move heaven and earth for me, however stressful, however long, however hard. I know I don't say it enough, but thanks guys. Its been a long hard day, but I think we are getting there.
I know there are still questions and the potential for cold feet, but there are wheels within wheels!

On to cheery things... Lady Chat is over, Don't know whether to laugh or cry! some of the things we did were unbelievable, and twilight zone venues and all. Everything was worth it purely for one thing. Mr Philliplingonberry. Definately a good apple.

My foot is still broken. Yay! My filling is stuck back in with something a bit more permanent and I've nearly done my washing. The Pigeon boys are back imminently which is very exciting, and I'm about to have the marmite sandwich I've been craving for the past tour! My phone is still in one piece, and although my laptop is in desperate need of a backlight I've hooked it up to my old monitor. Its slow, but works. I miss my hubby, however my beautiful mermaid is home, so much rejoicing.

All in all I'm good. It's nice when that happens!
